About the role

Babraham Nursery is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Apprentice to join their team. The successful candidate will study towards an Early Years Practitioner or Educator Apprenticeship (Level 2 or 3) and gain hands-on experience while performing various nursery assistant duties. This role involves working 4 days in the nursery and 1 day at college, with total weekly hours around 38.5-39. The apprentice will be responsible for a group of young children, ensuring their welfare, and supporting their educational, social, emotional, recreational, and welfare needs. The role requires flexibility to work with all age groups, strong communication skills, and the ability to liaise with parents/carers. Essential requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 3 or D). The nursery offers excellent benefits, study support, and funding, with opportunities for long-term career development.
