Early Years Educator Apprentice

About the role

Longwood Day Nursery is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice to join their team, supporting the care and learning of babies and young children. This role involves supporting daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment, and promoting the development and well-being of each child. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and will undertake an apprenticeship in Childcare. Responsibilities include supervising children, communicating with them and parents, supporting daily routines, maintaining a clean environment, collaborating with colleagues, managing behaviour, enhancing learning through creative play, and writing observations for children's learning journeys. The nursery offers additional leave, discounted food, company events, and on-site parking. The apprenticeship will lead to a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Mathematics at grade 4 and GCSE English Language at grade 4. Attention to detail, caring, communication skills, creative, initiative, logical, non-judgemental, patience, team working.
