About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to become an Apprentice Dental Nurse. This 12-month government-funded course, accredited by City & Guilds, leads to a Level 3 Extended Diploma. You will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, managing reception duties, and ensuring a positive patient experience. The role involves various tasks including answering phones, dealing with patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, preparing equipment, maintaining patient records, and managing stock. You will also be responsible for cleaning dental areas and supporting the wider dental team.

We are looking for individuals with excellent communication, organisational, and customer care skills. Problem-solving abilities, administrative skills, and a strong capacity for teamwork are essential. You should be patient, non-judgemental, and dedicated to providing excellent patient care. GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above are desired. Successful candidates will need to pass a DBS check and receive a Hepatitis B vaccination.
