About the role
Drive your career forward with this exciting apprenticeship opportunity. As a Service Technician/Mechanic apprentice, you will be involved in all aspects of maintenance and repair of customer vehicles, from routine servicing to complex diagnostics. Duties include using diagnostic equipment, testing parts, following checklists, carrying out vehicle inspections, maintaining electronic systems, and repairing vehicle parts like clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes, and suspension. You will also be responsible for completing accurate paperwork and maintaining a clean work environment. This role offers the chance to work with a wide range of vehicle types, including traditional, hybrid, and electronic engines, providing a varied technical training experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong logic and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to completing this three-year training program. Enthusiasm for the automotive industry and a willingness to learn are key. Personal skills sought include teamwork, strong communication, customer service, and an interest in vehicle engineering. Entry requirements
- GCSE English, Maths, and Science at grades 9-4 (A-C).
