About the role
This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive training program to become a Mechatronics Maintenance Technician. You will gain hands-on experience in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing overhead traveling cranes, industrial doors, and automated storage machines. Key responsibilities include conducting visual structural evaluations, testing safety devices, checking load-bearing components, documenting inspections for compliance, performing system lubrication, making mechanical adjustments, managing fluids and filters, torquing fasteners, isolating electrical faults, replacing components, and overhauling drive systems. The role also involves post-repair verification through functional testing. Upon completion, you will receive a Mechatronic Maintenance Technician qualification and be prepared for skilled engineering and maintenance roles.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grades 9-4 (A*-C) are essential. Strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, number, analytical, and teamwork skills are also required.
