About the role
DENNIS EAGLE LIMITED is seeking an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Technician to join their team in Bishop Auckland. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for automotive and a desire to learn. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in servicing, inspecting, and repairing heavy vehicles over 3.5 tonnes. The apprenticeship will cover mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical vehicle systems, immersing you in the fast-paced automotive industry with its ever-changing technologies and diagnostic techniques. Key tasks include performing routine servicing according to manufacturer guidelines, repairing and replacing faulty parts, and maintaining accurate service records.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Organisation skills, problem-solving skills, creativity, initiative, non-judgmental attitude, and patience are also required.
