About the role

Equitation At The Lodge is seeking an Equine Groom Apprentice to join their small, friendly yard. This role involves a variety of daily tasks including mucking out, feeding, grooming, tack cleaning, and assisting with horse care. The apprentice will also have the opportunity to learn about horse rehabilitation and potentially riding. Successful candidates will work towards a Level 2 Equine apprenticeship qualification with on-site training provided. Accommodation is not provided, and applicants must have their own transport arrangements.

This apprenticeship offers the possibility of progressing to a Level 3 Senior Equine Groom apprenticeship. The employer prides itself on high standards of care for a diverse range of horses, from competition horses to retired animals.
