About the role

This apprenticeship provides training and practical experience for individuals beginning a career in property maintenance. Apprentices will attend Greenlight Training for four days a month to develop essential skills and industry understanding. The remainder of the month will be spent on site, gaining experience in a professional environment. Duties include assisting with general repairs and maintenance, checking and maintaining fixtures and equipment, communicating effectively with colleagues and clients, reading and following work instructions, and ensuring tools and materials are prepared and stored safely. This role offers clear career progression opportunities, with potential for increased earnings and the chance to become a Qualified Property Maintenance Operative, pursue self-employment, or move into managerial/supervisor roles upon completion. Additional qualifications and industry experience can be accommodated and reflected in the apprenticeship.
