Lifting Equipment Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship

About the role

This is a practical apprenticeship where you will learn how to inspect, maintain, repair, install, and test lifting equipment used across a wide range of industries including construction, marine, manufacturing, energy, entertainment, and more.

You will gain workplace experience while working alongside experienced technicians.

Duties:

What You Will Do:

Repair, maintain, inspect, test, install, and assemble lifting equipment

Assist in modifying equipment to ensure safety and compliance

Learn how to identify and report unsafe equipment

Support decommissioning or removal of equipment when required

Work with senior technicians to understand technical drawings and documentation

Learn how to complete inspection reports and technical records

Develop an understanding of Health & Safety and regulatory requirements

Keep tools, equipment, and working areas clean and safe

Travel to client sites with experienced staff to gain on-site experience
