About the role

Join the office team at FUSSEY ENGINEERING LTD, an established steel engineering company with over 50 years of experience. This apprenticeship supports Health, Safety, and Quality across construction projects. You’ll help maintain records, assist with Risk Assessments and Method Statements, manage quality documentation and certificates, and gain valuable experience in a professional construction environment. Duties include answering calls, filing documentation, assisting with steel traceability, supporting the preparation of Method Statements and Risk Assessments, obtaining and maintaining material certificates, assisting with Quality requirements and Quality Packs, monitoring certification expiry dates, maintaining Health, Safety, and Quality records, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure project documentation is completed accurately and on time. You will develop knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety, and Quality processes within a construction and steel engineering environment.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above. Desired skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, administration, numeracy, analytical, logical thinking, teamwork, and initiative.
