About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to join S.R. FRANCE CONTRACTORS LIMITED as a Groundworker Apprentice. You will work on live construction sites, learning all aspects of groundwork from experienced professionals. Your week will involve morning briefings on tasks and safety, preparing tools and materials, and actively participating in site tasks. You'll learn the safe and correct way to carry out jobs, assist with cleaning down tools, tidying work areas, and ensuring the site is left safe and secure. This role requires you to be physically fit and have your own means of transport as job sites are varied. Progression to full-time employment is a possibility upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English & Maths: 2 or above. Attention to detail, communication skills, initiative, logical thinking, non-judgmental attitude, number skills, organization skills, patience, physical fitness, presentation skills, problem-solving skills, and team working abilities are also essential.
