About the role

This apprenticeship offers a hands-on opportunity to become a Food and Drink Engineering Maintenance Apprentice at Telford College, supporting Oaklands Farm Eggs Ltd. The role involves maintaining and repairing food and drink processing and packaging equipment, responding to breakdowns, and conducting reactive maintenance. You will learn to identify and fix electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, automation, and pneumatic faults. The apprenticeship also includes contributing to continuous improvement projects, installation and commissioning of equipment, and participating in technical performance reviews. You will support maintenance and operational teams and ensure the availability of tools and equipment. Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at C/4 or above. Essential skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, analytical thinking, logic, and teamwork.
