About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded apprenticeship leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. The role involves hands-on experience in a dental practice, supporting dentists chair-side, sterilizing equipment, managing reception duties, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Key responsibilities include assisting dentists, maintaining a clean and organized surgery, managing patient records, and handling stock. The apprenticeship requires strong communication, organizational, customer care, administrative, and teamwork skills. Essential entry requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Successful candidates will also need to pass a DBS check and have a Hepatitis B vaccination.
