About the role

This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and confident individual to build a career in business development and marketing. As an Apprentice Business Development and Marketing Executive at THE DEVELOPMENT MANAGER LTD, you will be responsible for connecting with employers, generating new business opportunities, and supporting campaigns to encourage regional employers to recruit early careers talent. Key duties include researching prospective employers, managing a sales pipeline using CRM, generating and qualifying leads through various channels, and promoting TDM Apprenticeships and Skills Bootcamps. You will also represent TDM at networking events, develop relationships with stakeholders, and contribute to sales-focused marketing campaigns. The role involves promoting Skills Bootcamp candidates to employers, supporting candidate matching, and securing interviews. A significant part of the role includes data management, reporting, and ensuring compliance. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there are opportunities for career progression to higher or degree-level apprenticeships.

Entry requirements

  • GCSEs at grade 4 or above in English and Mathematics, plus other GCSEs at grade 4 or above. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, teamwork, creativity, confidence in speaking, interest in business/sales, sales/recruitment experience, confidence in digital tech, CRM experience, social media promotion skills, time management skills, self-motivation, and interest in technology are essential.
