As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support residents with their day-to-day needs, including personal care, mobility, meals, drinks, activities, and emotional support. You will learn to complete care documentation, follow individual care plans, recognise changes in a resident’s health and wellbeing, and understand the importance of safeguarding, dignity, and person-centred care. The apprenticeship includes attending training and working towards completing the Level 2 Adult Care Worker qualification. There is a possibility of being offered a full-time role after successful completion.
