About the role

This apprenticeship offers a 12-month, government-funded course leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, provided by City & Guilds. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in a dental practice, assisting dentists, sterilizing and preparing equipment, performing reception duties, and supporting the overall patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing chair-side support, managing patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, and maintaining patient records. You will also be involved in managing stock and ensuring the cleanliness of dental areas. This role requires excellent communication and customer care skills, along with administrative and team-working abilities. Essential entry requirements include GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
