About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded apprenticeship for a Dental Nurse, leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma by City & Guilds. The role involves hands-on experience in a dental practice, assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, managing reception duties, and supporting patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing chair-side support, managing patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, sterilising and preparing instruments, maintaining patient records, ensuring patient wellbeing, and managing stock. The apprenticeship offers the chance to gain valuable skills and work alongside experienced dental professionals, with potential for career progression into roles such as Dental Practice Manager or further specialisation as a Dental Therapist or Hygienist.
