About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded apprenticeship for a Dental Nurse, leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma. The role involves providing chair-side support to dentists, sterilizing and preparing equipment, managing reception duties, handling patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, and maintaining patient records. You will also be responsible for supporting patient wellbeing and dental experience, cleaning dental areas, and managing stock. This hands-on experience will allow you to gain new skills and work alongside experienced dental professionals.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, customer care, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential.
