About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring apprentice to join WILLIAM PATTEN DAYCARE LIMITED in London. The Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship focuses on gaining a playworker qualification and practical experience in childcare. Responsibilities include supporting children's development through play and learning activities, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment, communicating effectively with parents, observing and assessing children's progress, maintaining records, attending training, collaborating with colleagues, and adhering to nursery policies. The apprenticeship offers a blended learning approach with virtual classrooms, webinars, and work-based tasks, with regular one-to-one support from an apprenticeship tutor who will conduct in-person or online visits every 5-6 weeks. Candidates are not required to attend college. Upon completion, there is potential to progress to a Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner apprenticeship and pursue Early Years Teacher Status.
