Digital Print Finishing Apprentice

About the role

Are you a creative problem-solver with a keen eye for detail? Cambridge Scholars Publishing is looking for a proactive Digital Print Finishing Apprentice to join their production team. This is a varied role where you will learn the end-to-end production process, from digital file to finished product. You will operate various types of digital print finishing equipment to turn digital designs into high-quality physical products. Key duties include book binding on a digital perfect binder, cutting and trimming books on digital guillotines, laminating, and making hardback book covers. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working with machinery, and be reliable. This apprenticeship offers a nationally recognised qualification, future-proof skills in modern print & finish technology, and a clear career path, potentially leading to a full-time production assistant position.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or above. Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Number skills, Logical thinking, Team working, Creativity, Initiative.
