About the role
WOODLANDS EARLY LEARNING LTD is seeking a motivated individual for an Early Years Apprentice role at Level 3 in Southampton. This is an excellent opportunity to train in childcare and gain practical experience in a large, friendly nursery. The apprentice will work directly with children, supporting the planning and delivery of various activities. Key responsibilities include creating a warm and stimulating environment, assisting with the daily care of children (washing, changing, feeding), acting as a key worker to a group of children with observation and planning duties, safeguarding and promoting child welfare, and adhering to nursery policies and procedures. The role involves on-the-job training and completing coursework within set timescales.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English at grade 4 or C and above. GCSE Maths at grade 4 or C and above is desired.
