Childcare Level 3 apprentice

About the role

This is an opportunity for a dynamic individual passionate about early years to join a friendly team at FIRST STEPS PRIVATE DAY NURSERY (LOWTON) LTD in Warrington. The apprentice will support children aged 6 weeks to 5 years, acting as a key person to a small group. Responsibilities include building effective relationships with parents/carers, ensuring each child's needs are met, working in partnership with families, advising the manager of any concerns regarding child well-being or safety, and providing stimulating play experiences. The role also involves ensuring child safety, understanding child protection procedures, and actively participating in team meetings and personal development. The apprenticeship includes training at the location and a paediatric first aid qualification.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Desired skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, logical, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, patience, and physical fitness.
