Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician

About the role

Elite Services in Stockport is offering a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join their company as an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician. Working in their workshop on buses and coaches, the apprentice will assist with maintaining, repairing, and servicing the fleet of vehicles. Duties will include learning about workshop cleanliness, tool and equipment usage, safe working procedures, assisting experienced technicians, vehicle servicing and inspection, and the safe removal and replacement of various vehicle components. The apprentice will also learn to carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on engine, chassis, transmission, and electrical systems. Full training and support will be provided by The Growth Company to help the apprentice achieve their qualification and reach their full potential.

Entry requirements

• GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above. Good communication, attention to detail, organisation skills, and a proactive, enthusiastic team-working attitude.
