About the role

Join M Equestrian Services Ltd, a professional showjumping yard based at Stondon Court in Essex, as an Equine Groom Apprentice. This role offers hands-on experience with competition horses, focusing on high standards of care, preparation, and management. Key responsibilities include mucking out, feeding, turning horses in and out, picking out feet, rugging, grooming, tacking up, tack cleaning, bathing, show preparation, lunging, and holding for veterinary and farrier appointments. There is also a possibility of grooming at shows and riding for the right candidate. The apprenticeship is for 1 Year 3 Months, working towards a Level 3 Senior Equine apprenticeship qualification, with all training provided on-site by Haddon Training Limited. No accommodation is provided, and you will need to arrange your own travel. For the right candidate, there may be an opportunity to progress to a Level 3 apprenticeship or full-time employment.
