About the role

An exciting opportunity for a Senior Equine Groom to join a professional showjumping yard run by Johnathan Shudall. This apprenticeship offers the chance to gain experience on the international show jumping circuit and potentially travel abroad. Key duties include all general yard maintenance such as mucking out, feeding, turning out, grooming, tack cleaning, and show preparation. The role also involves lunging, holding for farriers/vets, and potentially riding for competent applicants. Grooming at shows may also be a possibility. The working hours are 5 days out of 7 on a rota, including weekends. While livery for your own horse is available, there is no accommodation provided, so reliable transport to the yard is essential. Training will be provided on-site during working hours, with additional mentoring from Haddon Training.
