About the role

This is a Level 3 Senior Equine Groom Apprentice position based at Norwood Farmhouse, Elvedon Road, Cobham, KT11 1BS. The role involves a comprehensive range of yard duties including mucking out, feeding, turning horses out, picking out feet, rugging, grooming, tacking up, tack cleaning, bathing, and show preparation. The apprentice will also be involved in lunging, long reining, and holding horses for farriers, vets, and dentists. For a competent applicant, there is a possibility of riding, including walking, trotting, cantering, and jumping, as well as grooming at shows. The company, MR SEBASTIEN MARC POIRIER, is a professional show jumping training and livery business. No accommodation is provided, so reliable daily travel is essential. The apprenticeship is for 1 Year 6 Months, with a start date of 2026-10-26. Training will be provided on-site during paid working hours, with monthly sessions from a Haddon Training Trainer Coach.
