About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded apprenticeship to become a Level 3 Extended Diploma qualified Dental Nurse, accredited by City & Guilds. The role involves providing chair-side support to dentists, preparing and sterilising equipment, managing reception duties, handling patient queries, processing payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring patient wellbeing. You will also be responsible for managing stock and maintaining cleanliness within the dental practice. This apprenticeship offers a pathway to various career advancements within dental practice management and specialized dental fields such as dental therapy or hygiene, with further training.

Ideal candidates will possess strong communication, organisation, customer care, and problem-solving skills. Patience and a non-judgemental approach are essential for patient care. Desired qualifications include GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
