Light Vehicle Apprentice

About the role

Turves Green Service Station is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join their team as a Light Vehicle Apprentice. This role will provide hands-on experience in a professional workshop environment, covering a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks, including oil changes, inspections, servicing, tyre work, brake and exhaust repairs, computerised diagnostics, and more complex engine work like head gaskets and cambelts. The apprentice will also assist with day-to-day repairs and maintain workshop cleanliness. This is a Level 3 apprenticeship, leading to a Light Vehicle Level 3 qualification. The role is ideal for someone passionate about cars with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a long-term career within the company.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above are desired. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, numerical, analytical, and logical skills are essential. Team working, initiative, patience, and physical fitness are also important.
