About the role

This apprenticeship offers a 12-month, government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in a dental practice, working alongside experienced professionals. Key responsibilities include providing chair-side support to dentists, sterilizing and preparing equipment, managing reception duties such as answering calls, greeting patients, and handling payments. You will also be involved in booking appointments, dealing with patient queries, maintaining patient records, and ensuring the wellbeing and positive dental experience of patients. Stock management and maintaining cleanliness of dental areas are also part of the role. Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, administrative, and teamwork skills are essential.
