About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in dental nursing, provided by City & Guilds. The role involves assisting dentists, sterilising and preparing equipment, performing reception duties, and supporting the overall patient experience. Key responsibilities include chair-side support, managing patient queries, handling payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, ensuring equipment and supply stock, and cleaning dental areas. Applicants must be aged 19 or above due to insurance restrictions. Successful candidates will also need to pass a DBS check and receive a Hepatitis B vaccine.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Desired skills include communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administration, and teamwork.
