About the role

This is a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, a 12-month government-funded course accredited by City & Guilds. As a dental nurse apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilizing and preparing equipment, managing reception duties, and enhancing the patient experience. Your responsibilities will include providing efficient chair-side support, handling patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring the cleanliness of dental areas. You will also be responsible for managing stock and supporting the dental team in delivering effective patient care. This role requires individuals aged 19 or above due to insurance restrictions.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and teamwork skills. Patience and a non-judgemental attitude are essential.
