About the role

This is a 12-month, government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. The role involves providing essential chair-side support to dentists, sterilizing and preparing equipment, and managing reception duties. You will gain hands-on experience in a dental practice setting, assisting with patient care, managing records, maintaining stock, and ensuring a positive patient experience. The apprenticeship includes at least 20% of working hours dedicated to training and study with HARRIET ELLIS TRAINING SOLUTIONS LIMITED. Upon completion, career progression opportunities include moving into management roles or further training to become a dental therapist, hygienist, or orthodontic therapist.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organizational, customer care, administrative, and teamwork skills are essential, along with initiative, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude.
