About the role
Are you looking to train in childcare? A friendly, local preschool in Locks Heath is looking for an Early Years Apprentice to join their team in the baby room. The successful candidate will work and interact directly with children on a day-to-day basis supporting the planning of and delivery of activities. Duties include contributing to a high-quality caring environment for children, creating a warm, friendly, and stimulating atmosphere, and providing all aspects of care for children under supervision, including washing, changing, and feeding. The role also involves acting as a key worker, assisting with personal and emotional needs, safeguarding children's welfare, adhering to nursery policies, and completing work to desired timescales.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above. Desired skills include communication, attention to detail, organization, customer care, teamwork, creativity, initiative, being non-judgemental, and patience.
