About the role

This is a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in Dental Nursing, a 12-month government-funded course provided by City & Guilds. The role involves assisting dentists chair-side, sterilizing and preparing equipment, performing reception duties, managing patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, and supporting patient wellbeing. You will also be responsible for managing stock and maintaining cleanliness within the dental practice. Approximately 20% of your working hours will be dedicated to training and study with HARRIET ELLIS TRAINING SOLUTIONS LIMITED.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organization, customer care, administrative, and teamwork skills are essential, along with initiative, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude.
