About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual passionate about early years education. The role involves supporting children aged 6 weeks to 5 years within a friendly nursery team. Key responsibilities include acting as a key person, building strong relationships with parents and carers, and ensuring each child's developmental needs are met through stimulating play experiences. The apprentice will also be responsible for child safety and adhering to child protection procedures. This role requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to personal development and team collaboration. The apprenticeship includes training towards an Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard and a paediatric first aid qualification.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, strong communication skills, IT skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, customer care skills, problem solving skills, presentation skills, administrative skills, number skills, analytical skills, logical thinking, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, patience, and physical fitness.
