AI Engineer Apprentice

About the role

Cloud Combinator Ltd is seeking an ambitious and motivated AI Engineer Apprentice to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to work on real client projects from day one, assisting in the design, development, and deployment of production AI solutions on AWS, including generative AI and agentic AI systems. The apprentice will collaborate with senior engineers, participate in client calls, and learn about cloud best practices. A significant portion of the week will be dedicated to apprenticeship learning, leading to a Level 6 AI Engineer qualification, a degree-level qualification delivered virtually by QA. Responsibilities include coding, debugging, client collaboration, agile participation, and continuous learning towards AWS certifications. The ideal candidate will have a genuine curiosity for AI, be hands-on with code (Python preferred), have an awareness of cloud fundamentals (AWS exposure is a plus), be an effective communicator, a problem-solver, and detail-oriented.
