About the role
Bluebird Care is seeking a new adult care apprentice in Portsmouth to study towards an Adult Care Worker (Level 2) Apprenticeship. The role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to elderly and vulnerable people in their own homes. Key responsibilities include assisting with personal care, providing companionship, effective communication, problem-solving, understanding nutrition and hydration, safeguarding procedures, medication administration, handling challenging situations, and teamwork. Upon completion of the 12-month apprenticeship, the individual will obtain their Adult Care Worker (Level 2) qualification. Paragon Skills, an award-winning national apprenticeship provider, will deliver the training.
