About the role

Arniss Equestrian is seeking an Equine Groom Apprentice to join their BHS approved riding school and livery yard. The apprentice will be responsible for grooming and caring for horses, escorting rides in the New Forest, and supporting the business by interacting with clients. This role offers the opportunity to develop skills through regular training, including potential BHS stages. Main duties include assisting with the riding school, mucking out, feeding, tacking up, and riding for suitable candidates. The position is not accessible by public transport, and no accommodation is provided. There is a possibility of livery for the candidate's own horse. Upon successful completion, the apprentice will receive a Level 2 Equine Groom certificate. Training will be conducted in the workplace with a dedicated trainer coach visiting every 4 weeks. Functional Skills in English and maths are available if required. A Level 3 Senior Groom Apprenticeship may be offered upon completion.
