About the role

This Bricklaying Apprenticeship (Level 2) offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry. You will work on new build and refurbishment projects, learning to lay bricks and blocks using mortar, hand tools, and modern construction methods. Key duties include setting out, shaping materials, working as part of a site team, and adhering to health, safety, quality, and sustainability standards. The apprenticeship provides high industry demand with opportunities for specialization and progression. You'll learn to mix mortar, organize materials, use tools safely, and check lines and levels. This role is ideal for individuals with good communication skills, attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and physical fitness. The training will involve regular sessions at the Training Centre, with at least 20% of your working hours dedicated to training and study.
