About the role

This is a 12-month, government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in Dental Nursing with City & Guilds. The role involves chair-side assistance to dentists, sterilising and preparing equipment, reception duties, and supporting patient experience. Daily tasks include greeting patients, handling queries, taking payments, booking appointments, managing patient records, maintaining stock, and cleaning dental areas. The apprenticeship is delivered at the dental surgery with potential functional skills training if needed. Upon completion, there are opportunities for career progression into roles such as team manager, dental practice manager, dental therapist, dental hygienist, or orthodontic therapist.

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or equivalent.
