About the role
This apprenticeship offers a 12-month, government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, accredited by City & Guilds. As an apprentice, you will gain practical experience in a dental practice, assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, managing reception duties, and enhancing patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing efficient chair-side support, handling patient queries and payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, ensuring patient well-being, managing stock, and contributing to effective patient care within the dental team.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and teamwork skills are essential, along with patience and a non-judgemental approach to patient care.
