About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in dental nursing, delivered by City & Guilds. The role involves assisting dentists, sterilizing and preparing equipment, handling reception duties, and supporting the overall patient experience. Key responsibilities include chair-side support, managing patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring the wellbeing of patients. You will also be involved in managing stock and cleaning dental areas.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above are desired. Key skills include communication, organization, customer care, problem-solving, administration, teamwork, patience, and a non-judgmental attitude towards patient care.
