About the role

Mumbles Day Nursery is seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader Apprentice to join their team in Sandon. This is an excellent opportunity to gain advanced leadership skills in an early years setting while working towards the Early Years Lead Practitioner Level 5 qualification. The role involves leading the day-to-day operations of a nursery room, supporting children's learning and development, and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging activities, acting as a key person, observing and assessing children's progress, supporting other practitioners, maintaining records, and ensuring all safeguarding and nursery policies are followed. The apprenticeship will involve close work with young children and requires a commitment to high standards of care, safeguarding, and professionalism. Upon completion, there is a possibility of a full-time role.
