About the role

An exciting opportunity to become an Apprentice Dental Nurse. This is a 12-month government-funded course by City & Guilds, leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing. You will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilising and preparing equipment, handling reception duties, and contributing to a positive patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing chair-side support, managing patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, and maintaining stock. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication, organisational, and patient care skills who are looking to build a career in the healthcare sector.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Excellent communication, organisational, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and teamwork skills are essential. Patience and a non-judgemental approach are also important.
