About the role

This is an apprenticeship opportunity to become a Dental Nurse. The program is a 12-month government-funded course leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma. Responsibilities include assisting dentists chair-side, sterilizing and preparing equipment, reception duties, handling patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, managing patient records, and supporting patient well-being and the overall dental experience. The role also involves cleaning dental areas and managing stock. Upon completion, there are opportunities for career progression into roles such as team manager, dental practice manager, or further training to become a dental therapist, hygienist, or orthodontic therapist.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and teamwork skills are desired.
