About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a qualified Dental Nurse. The program is a 12-month, government-funded course leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma, accredited by City & Guilds. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists, sterilising and preparing equipment, performing reception duties, and contributing to an excellent patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing efficient chair-side support, managing patient queries, handling payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring the cleanliness of dental areas. You will also be involved in stock management and supporting the senior dental team. This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication, organisational, and customer care skills who are patient, non-judgemental, and dedicated to patient wellbeing.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above.
