About the role

This is a 12-month government-funded apprenticeship for an Apprentice Dental Nurse. The course is a Level 3 Extended Diploma accredited by City & Guilds. The role involves assisting dentists, sterilising and preparing equipment, handling reception duties, and supporting the patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing chair-side support, managing patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a positive patient wellbeing and dental experience. The apprentice will also be involved in managing stock and other duties to support the dental team.

This apprenticeship offers excellent career progression opportunities. With experience, individuals can advance to roles such as team manager, team leader, or dental practice manager. Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and team working skills are desired. Patience and non-judgemental attitude are essential.
