About the role

Embark on a 12-month government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in Dental Nursing, in partnership with City & Guilds. This role offers comprehensive training and hands-on experience, covering chair-side support, equipment sterilization and preparation, reception duties, and direct patient interaction. You will gain practical skills in managing patient queries, handling payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring patient comfort and well-being. The position also involves stock management and general upkeep of the dental practice. This apprenticeship is an excellent stepping stone for a career in dental healthcare, with potential progression into management or specialized roles like dental therapist or hygienist. You will work closely with dentists and the senior team to deliver effective patient care.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisational, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and team working skills are essential. Patience and a non-judgemental approach are also key.
