About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to become an Apprentice Dental Nurse at A M DENTAL CARE LIMITED in Great Missenden. The apprenticeship is a 12-month, government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma course accredited by City & Guilds. You will gain hands-on experience assisting dentists chair-side, sterilizing and preparing equipment, managing reception duties, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Your responsibilities will include answering phones, dealing with patient queries, taking payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing stock. This role offers a clear path for career progression, with opportunities to move into management roles or further training to become a dental therapist, hygienist, or orthodontic therapist. Upon successful completion, you may need to pass a DBS check and receive a Hepatitis B vaccine.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above. Excellent communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and team working skills are essential. Patience and a non-judgemental approach to patient care are also required.
