About the role
This is a 12-month government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma apprenticeship in dental nursing. The role involves assisting dentists, sterilizing and preparing equipment, performing reception duties, and supporting the patient experience. Key responsibilities include chair-side assistance, patient interaction, appointment booking, record management, and maintaining the cleanliness of dental areas. The program is delivered by City & Guilds and training takes place at the dental surgery.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, and teamwork skills are desired.
